Magical Mystery Tour
Two previously unpublished 8mm amateur colour films, shot in Cornwall between 12th-14th September, 1967, the majority of footage taken during the shooting of the Magical Mystery Tour at the Atlantic Hotel, Newquay and the surrounding area, each film approx - 4 mins long, contents include:
- a scene being filmed at an outdoor swimming pool [not used in the final version] featuring a showgirl playing an accordion before a crowd of people frolicking in the pool with John Lennon looking on momentarily
- Lennon and Harrison climbing up the steps leading to the pool
- Backview of a man [probably Mal Evans] sticking the Magical Mystery Tour psychedelic lettering to the side of the bus
- Ringo and John and the cast and crew of the Magical Mystery Tour on the bus
- Paul and George responding to a huge crowd of onlookers
- The four Beatles and the cast and crew of the bus standing in front of the Tour bus, at the top of stone steps
