The rectangular case surmounted by a figure of a classical maiden holding a cornucopia, her feet resting on a Grecian stool, dropping flowers onto an orb to the other side of the case, the rectangular base with relief cast frieze to the front of amorinos carrying baskets of flowers, the dial with Roman chapter ring and engine-turned centre, signed on a panel between the winding holes PINEDDE A POITIERS, with steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell (case lacking two mounts) -- 16in. (41cm.) high
