The case surmounted with an equestrian group of a knight in armour on the field of battle, an Ottoman turban to the ground below his steed, the base with military trophy and floral swag mounts, the white enamel Roman dial (short hairline crack) signed C. DETOUCHE FT RUE ST MARTIN 228 & 230 PARIS, trefoil hands (rusted, hour lacking), the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell and repeat stamp to the backplate -- 17in. (45cm.) high
