Including: an English example, the case with breakarch top and butterfly inlay, the silvered Roman dial signed ARTHUR J BOYCE, the single chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate -- 15./14in. (39cm.) high; and a French cottage style brass mounted mantel timepiece, the breakarch case with brass ball finials and brass columns to the sides, on ball feet, with white enamel Roman dial (chip by V), spade hands, the single barrel movement with covered vertically positioned platform escapement to the backplate -- 12in.
