"All her work centers on the source of energy. Her objective is to communicate the presence through a contemporary language wich not only transmits ancestral theories, but can point towards their resolution within a poetics of space and through tribal signs which the artist wishes to highlight. In creating these different sensations and powerful, moving images, Marta Combariza uses a circumspect, sober range of color, she simplifies and restrains the design of the various symbols and distributes her various signs in a process of meditated composition.
