"The works are constructed in carefully composed, clean shapes. The colours are complements, they do not overshadow them. Almost all her formats are square, stable shapes which evoke within them dynamic sinuous photo-compositions. This generates a calculated tension between the pictorial area and its content. The colour and texture solutions are closer to flat depictions than to spatial suggestions. In spite of this, the painting is not planimetric due to the density and elaboration with which the pigments have been manipulated."
