For another spinach jade bottle with slightly flaring neck but with an oval footring, see Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles, The Mary and George Bloch Collection, Hong Kong, 1995, vol. I, Jade, pp. 400-401. no. 153. The authors discuss the use of this particular stone for snuff bottles. The example from the Bloch Collection bears the hallmark Xingyouheng Tang (Hall of Constancy). The Mack example is unmarked and its more rounded profile, extreme hollowing and wide neck suggest a slightly earlier date.
