Of rectangular shape, mounted on each side with bail handles suspended from circular mounting plates and falling to a knocking plate of conforming shape, the front with a circular lockplate mounted flush against the surface and continuing over the beaded lip, metal reinforcements at all edges, with ruyi-head mounts at top corners, the wood of characteristic golden hue with attractive whorling
