In William III style; vase-form on a circular foot-rim, the hand-hammered body applied with cut-card band and mid-rib, with angular handle, the hinged cover with scroll thumbpiece, applied strapwork calyx and baluster finial, marked on body and under cover, also stamped under base CRICHTON MADE IN ENGLAND
