Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks, impressed D to two cups, Pressnummer 26 to tray
Painted after Watteau with figures at various pursuits among obelisks, statues and urns in wooded landscape vignettes beneath ozier-moulded borders painted with scattered flowers and with gilt line rims, the cups with moulded gilt wishbone handles and each resting in a flared pierced galleried trembleuse, the stand with waisted curved spatulate handle (minute chip to rim of one gallery, minute chip to rim of one cup and glaze rubbing to rim of another, minute chipping to footrims)
