A Meissen bullet-shaped teapot and cover
Circa 1742, blue crossed swords mark, incised R
With a shell and foliage-moulded wishbone handle, the tip of the octagonal section spout formed as a bird's head, painted with a figure strolling by a river, the reverse with a fortified town by a river with boating figures below a rocky outcrop (spout broken through and restuck, restored rim chip, minute wear to gilding at extremities)
