A Meissen baluster coffee-pot and cover
Circa 1742, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 24
With a shell and foliage-moulded wishbone handle, the spout incised and formed as a petal edged with foliage scrolls, painted with figures in boats and on the banks of a river below a hill with a tower, the reverse with figures fishing from a jetty near small cottages amongst trees before a distant village (restored small chip to handle with associated crack, minute wear to gilding at extremities)
