Details
Two Staffordshire creamware plates
of Wheildon type, the borders moulded with trellis pattern sections within scrolls between ozier-moulded sections below shaped rims, both sponged in grey and splashed with blue, green and ochre glazes, circa 1770 (one plate with minor rim chips, one with a ground out blemish to the reverse) -- 23.5cm. diam.
