Jean Delobel, son of Henri Delobel, struck his mark in 1771, living in Place Dauphine.
The Chinoiserie scene on the cover is inspired by Gabriel Huquier's Scnes de la Vie Chinoise, the engraving 'Chinois et Chinoise portant un poisson' after a drawing by Franois Boucher of circa 1742, now in the Louvre.
