Circa 1740, blue crossed swords marks, painter's E1 to the footrim of the teabowl, B to that of the saucer
Painted in underglaze blue in the Tischchenmuster pattern and enriched in purple and gilt; together with a beaker and an associated saucer similarly decorated in an indianischen Blumen palette; and an arched rectangular tea caddy painted in purple and enriched in gilt with oriental flowering plants, 4.1/8in.
