Sea Treasures or Child Picking Seaweed was one of three bronzes Eberle conceived as a group depicting young women on the Coney Island beach. The three figures were exhibited in the 1913 Armory Show and the artist subsequently marketed the sculptures both as a unified work and as individual bronzes.
