A pair of Minton turquoise-ground two-handled vases
probably designed by Christopher Dresser in the cloisonn style, each globular body painted with stylised birds within roundels on a ground painted with peony, the neck painted with butterflies between key fret pattern bands, impressed marks and year cyphers for 1871 (chip to handle, slight staining to interiors, rubbing to black enamels and crazing to glaze) -- 26cm. high
