The bodhisattva shown seated atop a lotus howdah supported on the back of an elephant, wearing robes bedecked with flower-decorated chains and a scrolling headdress centered by a pagoda, the hands lying in the lap and the face and chest left in the biscuit and burnt orange in the firing, the rest of the figure covered in a glaze of soft olive-green tone, chips--9 7/8in. (25.12cm.) high
