Delicately painted in pastel enamels with a young lady seated at a table laden with scholar's articles and surrounded by children, one holding a peach, all within a shaped hexafoil cartouche edged in gilt against a pale-blue cell-pattern ground, the everted rim with a wide band of floral and fruit panels alternating with gilt dragon roundels reserved on a pink cell-pattern ground, the reverse glazed white, restored rim chip, tiny foot chips--8¼in. (21cm.) diam.
