Cylindrical and on domed spreading foot chased with a band of shells and scrolls, the body repouss and chased with large shells between borders of scrolls on a plain ground, the hinged slightly domed cover chased with similar decoration and with replaced detachable angel finial, with bifurcated thumbpiece and leaf-capped scroll handle, the base engraved with inventory number and scratchweight, marked on body
