Probably north Germany, circa 1580, maker's mark HCT conjoined only, possibly that of Heinrich Triebel, Kiel
On spreading gadrooned foot, the lower part of the body chased with indented lobes on matted ground with wriggle band above, the tapering upper part engraved with a band of ovals and strapwork and the initials M B A H D at intervals, marked on base
