LE BRUN, Cornelius. Reizen over Moskovie, door Persie en Indie. Amsterdam: for the author by Willem and David Goerree, 1711.
2 (400 x 253mm). Title printed in red and black, with woodcut ornament. Engraved allegorical frontispiece by B. Picart, engraved frontispiece portrait of Le Brun by G. Valck after Sir Godfrey Kneller, 2 folding engraved maps, 260 engraved plates on 14 double-page folding, 54 double-page, and 40 single sheets, engraved illustrations, woodcut initials and tailpieces. (Occasional light spotting or browning, a few short, clean marginal tears on text leaves, a few illustrations slightly offset onto text, neatly-repaired clean tear across text on Aaa4, short clean tear onto platemark of plates 121-124, not affecting image.) Contemporary mottled calf, gilt floral roll-tooled border on sides, gilt spine, lettered in one compartment, gilt edges (joints split and repaired, lower corners neatly repaired.)
