8 (164 x 98mm). Italic type. Aldine device 3 on title, repeated on final verso. 30 lines and headline, initial spaces with guide-letter. (Small hole in title, very faint dampstain at end.) Half calf, gilt spine with red and green lettering-pieces, green edges, by Reparlier (short split at front hinge). Provenance: Henri-Eugne-Philippe-Louis d'Orlans, duc d'Aumale (1822-1897, armorial stamp on title and at end).
This volume was once owned by the duc d'Aumale, governor of Algeria (among other positions), responsible for forming the famous library at Chantilly. Although the register at the end of the volume calls for a preliminary quire of 4 leaves, it is absent in this copy and is not called for in any of the cited bibliographies.
