8 (143 x 89mm). Aldine device on title, repeated in final verso. 30 lines and headline, initial spaces with guide-letter. (Neat tear at head of title, inscription erased from lower margin of title with resultant small holes, last page lightly soiled and with small marginal wormhole.) Early 19th-century red straight-grained morocco gilt, gilt edges. Provenance: Nicolas Ymniz (booklabel).
EDITIO PRINCEPS of all three texts, 'trs rare' (Brunet and Renouard). Quintus's epic poem fills the gap in events between Homer's Iliad and the Odyssey. Adams Q-77; Ahmanson-Murphy 71; Brunet IV, 1028; Renouard Alde, 261:14.
