EDITIO PRINCEPS of the works of Themistius, a Greek rhetorician from Paphlagonia. He opened a rhetorical schoool at Constantinople, where he was appointed prefect by the emperor Theodosius I and tutor to the emperor's son and successor, Arcadius.
