A Farnell teddy bear
with golden mohair, clear and black glass eyes painted on reverse, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, webbed paw claws, jointed shaped limbs and linen pads --19in. (48cm.) tall, circa 1927 (loss of paint to eyes, darning repair to pads and tummy, slight overall wear to mohair, a little dirty); and his companion, a Kanga and Roo, both of grey and white plush and black boot button eyes backed with white cloth --11in. (28cm.) tall (Kanga) 3in. (9cm.) tall (Roo), circa 1927 (very slight overall wear); and two photographs of owner with these toys, dated 1927 and 1931
