Two British Officer's Swords
A Victorian infantry officer's leve-weight sword with slightly curved fullered blade, by E. THURKLE & SONS, etched with VR cypher etc., small brass (originally gilt) guard and fishskin grip (grip now painted, lacking scabbard; and a Rifles officer's sword with blade by J. ASCHER, 429 STRAND, etched with VR cypher, Bugle-Horn etc., regulation steel guard and fishskin grip (now painted and lacking grip-wires), no scabbard. (2)
