An Officer's Helmet of Lord Strathcona's Horse
An extremely fine gilt-brass helmet with rayed white metal star bearing KC above shield and scrolls inscribed LORD STRATHCONA'S HORSE and ROYAL CANADIANS, silk internal headband, gilt chin-chain with red leather backing, and white-over-red horsehair plume, in its tin by Hawkes with plaque inscribed Capt H.D. Ketchen, Lord Strathcona's Horse.
