Acting Lance-Corporal James Shugg died of shell wounds in the abdomen and right arm on 4.7.1918 and is buried in St. Pierre Cemetery, Amiens, France.
Private Paul Shugg was wounded by gunshot to the right leg on 1.9.1918 and died in 1923, aged 25 years.
Surgeon Lieutenant Leonard Malcolm Shugg was wounded on 13.5.1918 and honourably discharged in the following month. He later served as a Surgeon Lieutenant in the R.A.N. between 1927-33 and died of burns caused by an accident aboard H.M.A.S. Canberra in February of the latter year.
