The first with octagonal sighted barrel with rammer beneath, rebated cylinder, scroll engraved action and frame, ring-trigger, and chequered saw-handled grips (one grip replaced, action defective, some pitting); the second with sighted barrels numbered '1' and '2', signed scroll engraved action, engraved trigger-guard, finely chequered walnut butt, engraved domed pommel incorporating a butt-trap with hinged scroll engraved cover, and silver escutcheon (minor pitting), London proof marks
