The first with etched twist barrels numbered from '1' to '6', scroll engraved action and frame, the latter with patent stamp, under-hammer, engraved ring-trigger, and ebonized grips, Lige proof; the second stamped 'Allen & Thurber', 'Worcester', and 'Cast Steel' on the barrel block, scroll engraved action with shotgun type hammer, and walnut grips (in worn condition, some pitting); the third with traces of retailer's name on the top-strap, scroll engraved frame, and later rammer and butt (in poor condition), Birmingham proof marks
