With octagonal barrel cut with seven grooves, tangent back-sight, patent breech with integral tang originally bearing a peep-sight, rear-facing hammer, signed lock, walnut full stock, chequered fore-end, raised cheek-piece and thumb-rest, brass mounts including indented trigger-guard, set trigger, iron sling swivels (one later), and later horn-tipped wooden ramrod (minor defects)
