With earlier blued swamped octagonal sighted barrel cut with seven grooves, and inlaid with gold decoration around the gold signature at the breech, tang engraved with the number '1', rounded lock, moulded lightly carved figured walnut full stock (minor bruising), shaped brass mounts, raised cheek-piece, brass-inlaid wooden trigger-guard, sliding patch-box cover, iron sling mounts, set trigger, horn fore-end cap, and original horn-tipped ramrod
