signed SIR W. THOMSON'S QUADRANT ELECTROMETER NO. 151, J. WHITE GLASGOW, with contacts, universal bubble level, magnifier, vernier fine adjustment, zinc-lined glass bowl, with three adjustable supports to the triangular-shaped base, with accessories, in the original pine carrying case with brass swan-neck handle -- 18in. (47.6cm.) high; and a plane-table compass signed HILDEBRAND FREIBERG/S.A., mounted on an oxidised-brass plate, in pine case -- 10in. (27.3cm.) wide
