signed Johan Haibm Alden Auwee, with decorative floral engraving, the off-centre compass with graduated silvered base and second circle of graduations 1 - 24, blued-steel needle, brass cap and and brass fixing arm for needle, the edges of the box with graduations 0 - 60 and spring-loaded suspension hook (one of two) -- 4in. (14.6cm.) long
