the equinoctial ring inscribed on one side George Wheatley 1686 and graduated I - XII twice on the other, meridian ring with a quadrant scale on one side, the bridge with sliding pin-hole sight, engraved on one side with calendar side and the other side with unnumbered scale -- 3in. (7.6cm.) diameter
