Manuscript contract for the Bridge at Iron Cove Creek, Sydney, 1878, on vellum, 9 pages, folio (some wear and soiling to upper and lower margins).

The contract, between the government of New South Wales and the London firm of Charles James Appleby, concerns the provision and transport of the 'wrought and cast iron steel and gunmetal' for a new bridge at the Iron Cove Creek at Sisters Rocks outside Sydney, the total cost to be 21,908 18 shillings and nine pence.
