TWO SILVER CREAM JUGS, maker's mark of Gorham, the first, 1887, no. 700, compressed spherical on circular rim foot, with mid band composed of engraved vermicelli band, bordered by flat chased bellflowers, twice centering oval cartouche, one monogrammed, one with crest, within stylized foliate wreath, with loop handle, with applied, everted geometric, then beeded rim--3in. (7.6cm.) high; the second, 1882, no. 1670, with frosted finish, rounded square, on molded conforming foot, with elephant's head handle, the short spout chased with geometric and stylized foliate motifs, the rim with die rolled geometric band--3½in.
