A SILVER TEA KETTLE, STAND AND LAMP, maker's mark of Shreve, Stanwood & Co., Boston, 1860-1869, straight sided oval, with engraved running stylized ivy borders, the collar twice engraved with triple radiating wedges, with plain scroll spout, side hinged raised cover topped by beaded urn finial, with overhead swing handle, on twice chained oval stand on four inverted auricular supports, with plain burner, the cover, handle and supports also engraved with ivy--tea kettle on stand over handle--14in. (35.5cm.) high over swing handle, gross weight 57oz.
