Sides A and B: Herakles wrestling with the Nemean lion, flanked by two standing men wearing himations, behind which stand two female-headed sirens who are looking back over their shoulders, traces of Kalos inscription
The twin handles flanked by two palmettes on scrolling tendrils; black glazed lip, lower body and stemmed foot; the interior black glazed with reserved tondo surrounding black ring around central black dot; details incised and in added red and white, repaired
5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; 11.3/8 in. (28.9 cm.) across handles
