The circular guard bears a soft, glowing patina on its surface, has a slight lip to the rim of both sides and is sunken slightly towards the seppa-dai; to the right are figures of Jurojin, Daikoku and Ebisu reading a scroll with highlights in gold, the reverse with two koku of Daikoku, signed Shiho Sadamoto to and sealed Shinsui--diameter 8.1 cm; wood box
