The case with stepped top centred by a displayed eagle mount (formerly flanked by further mounts), supported by classical winged female figures resting on orbs, on stepped base with releif mount to the front depicting Aurora in her chariot and wreath mounts to the sides, with acanthus cast gallery and front feet modelled as eagles atop orbs, the dial with apron cast in relief with a cherub resting on a swag, white enamel Roman chapter ring with engine-turned centre, steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell; with theatrical mask and flower cast pendulum and associated winding key
