Circa 1765, each stamped P. Remy
Each with arched padded back within a channelled frame carved with husk-trails and with floral and scroll-carved cresting above a serpentine-fronted seat covered in floral-embroidered ivory silk, the panelled seat-rail centered by a flowerhead over a pierced acanthus spray, on laurel-headed cabriole legs with scroll feet, with traces of earlier gilding
