First half of the 18th century
Each of tapering four-sided section moulded at the base with a scallop shell alternating with a teardrop, the sides with a lappet along the length of the handle, the front and back painted with a Commedia dell' Arte character standing on a bracket, the sides with strapwork within the lappet enriched in gilt, with silver collar and steel knife blade
