A PAIR OF ANSBACH FAYENCE VASES AND COVERS
Circa 1750
Each of inverted pear shape, the domed cover with spire finial, painted in a sharp palette in the Ansbach 18th century style with Chinoiserie landscapes reserved within ogival panels on the bright yellow ground reserved and painted in iron-red with three graduated peonies growing from a common stem, the shoulder and foot with a band of bright green stylized laurel
