The lunette painted with a seascape and a ship behind a semi-circular brass ring engraved ANGEL SPARKE PLYMOUTH above the brass chapter ring centered by a seconds dial and calendar aperture within pierced rocaille spandrels, with rectangular hood with arched glazed door and blind fretwork-carved spandrels flanked by outset brass-fitted fluted columns, the case with blind fretwork-carved canted corners and trunk door, on a rectangular base, the two-train movement with anchor escapement striking the hour on a bell, hands replaced
