lithograph, 1945, on Arches, signed in pencil, inscribed 'épreuve d'essai', a trial proof apart from the three signed and numbered artist's proofs and the unsigned, unnumbered book edition of 195, the full sheet, two small skinned patches at the reverse of the top sheet corners, a few tiny foxmarks and minor surface soiling on the reverse, otherwise in good condition
