various pieces mounted in a modern frame, with other loose fragments; and three plaster ceiling mouldings: a fleur-de-lis and a foliate boss; and five panel fragments
Provenance
Heath Old Hall, Nr.Wakefield, Yorkshire. The Elizabethan Old Hall, assigned to the Smythsons, was demolished in the 1960's. The fleur-de-lis of the ceiling bosses feature in the Wakefield coat-of-arms.
