A Victorian oak and white metal mounted tantalus, late 19th century
The domed top with engraved plate inscribed PRESENTED TO MR WALTER BERRY, BATH MASTER, FROM THE MEMBERS OF HIS PHYSICAL DRILL CLASS AND FRIENDS, APRIL 1893, with moulded serpentine sides, the base front of the tantalus with a compartmentalised box and a drawer, with three moulded glass decanters and stoppers -- 14in. (35.55cm.) wide, 12½in. (31.8cm.) high
