This exceptionally finely modeled figure relates stylistically to bronzes found at Kurkihar monastery, but is more pronounced in the modeling of the body, detailing even the stomoch muscles and knee caps. Striking similarities to Pagan period Burmese examples are also evident, in the general outline but more specifically in the facial features, evidence of this being the defining archetype for dissemination to Southeast Asia.
